Reimagine Office Furnishings now offering Synexis to reduce airborne bacteria and pathogens in offices

As organizations worldwide face a new wave of COVID-19 cases, there is a need for new ways to shield their staff from harmful bacteria, mold, and viruses. Many are choosing a new technology called Synexis that requires no labor commitment, has low operating and maintenance costs, and is designed to continuously reduce contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, insects and mold, 24/7 in all areas of a space. Reimagine Office Furnishings, headquartered in Tampa, has partnered with Synexis to bring the technology to Florida and has already delivered systems to major local institutions such as J.C. Newman Cigars, Gracepoint Wellness, and Parallel.

“The country is dealing with a pandemic while simultaneously working hard to maintain the economy,” said Reimagine Office Furnishings President Bill Adams. “We are proud to offer this technology and do our part to help America get back to work.”

Synexis works by taking naturally occurring oxygen and humidity and using it to create dry hydrogen peroxide (DHP). DHP is naturally produced using the ambient humidity and oxygen already present in the air. This technology provides prophylactic mitigation of broad-spectrum pathogens including viruses, bacteria, and fungi from the moment they are introduced to a facility. The Synexis system distributes DHP to the most out-of-reach areas of a facility, attacking viruses, bacteria, and mold from the air and surfaces.

Reimagine Office Furnishings is presently providing systems to a wide range of industries, including corporate offices and facilities for food processing, athletics, defense, and manufacturing. Recently, Synexis systems have been installed in municipal offices in the City of Vail, as well as the city’s entire bus fleet, and Trilith Studios, the Georgia-based film production company. Additionally, Kansas State University and the University of Oklahoma are two universities that have utilized Synexis technology to reduce exposure to perilous microbes.

Understanding the technology’s ability to reduce exposure, businesses are including Synexis in their safety protocol as they welcome staff back to the office. “We use Synexis systems in all of our retail stores and production operations where we have daily close contact between employees, in all four states we are currently operating in,” said Mike Gillespie, Vice President of Capital Projects for Parallel, a leading Cannabis and Wellness company with headquarters in Atlanta. “We plan to continue to deploy these systems as part of our complete PPE program, as we have seen zero workplace transmissions of the COVID-19 virus, even when we have had positive employees leave work sick. We attribute Synexis with the additive success rate when compared to standard PPE implementation for our 2,000-plus employees.”
