Sting and The Florida Orchestra to Perform Some of His Greatest Hits

World-renowned musician Sting is returning to The Florida Orchestra for an intimate performance of his greatest hits reimagined for a symphony orchestra, TFO announced today. Music Director Michael Francis will conduct the benefit concert Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 8 pm at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.

the iconic rock star and former front man of The Police center stage for
reinterpreted versions of fan favorites drawn from his illustrious career of No. 1
hits and multiplatinum albums. Selections will include Every Little Thing She Does
Is Magic, Englishman In New York, Fields of Gold, Roxanne, Every Breath You Take and much more.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6. Prices are $100, $200, $300 $400, $550 and $750; fees apply. Tickets will be available only
through The Florida Orchestra: online at FloridaOrchestra.org, by phone at 727.892.3337, or in person at TFO’s Ticket Center, 244 Second Ave. N (first floor) in downtown St. Petersburg.

All proceeds support TFO’s high standard of artistic excellence as well as free education and community programs that serve the Tampa Bay community.

Sting’s first performance with TFO is legendary – a magical night celebrating the orchestra’s 50th anniversary in 2017. Fans lined up around the block, and tickets sold out in days. Rave reviews called the concert “magical,” “mesmerizing” and “tremendously moving.”
